One of the highlights of any Olympic Games is the lighting of the cauldron, a flame that stays lit for the duration of the games. Thoughts and opinions about the Olympics aside, the lighting of the flame at the London games was nothing short of magnificent. Visually and viscerally I was hit with “many flames, one heart”. What way to symbolize the evolution of humanity from separation and duality to unity consciousness. I wonder what other symbolic, memorable moments this games will offer.
Many thanks to alamuttara.
I love the juxtaposition of symphony and silliness in this video. May your day be filled with smiles and creativity.
Once again I am brought to tears by the beauty of music and humanity. Music has an unerring capacity to deeply touch our hearts and souls. Thank you, thank you, thank you Beethovan, Banco Sabadell and the amazing beings of light who radiate joy in the presence of such beauty.
“On the 130th anniversary of the founding of Banco Sabadell we wanted to pay homage to our city by means of the campaign “Som Sabadell” (We are Sabadell) . This is the flashmob that we arranged as a final culmination with the participation of 100 people from the Vallès Symphony Orchestra, the Lieder, Amics de l’Òpera and Coral Belles Arts choirs.”
Oh my gosh, my heart and soul danced with delight while I watched this. Just feel into it –
Every atom in your body
Came from a star that exploded
You are all star dust
From a star that exploded (Neil Degrasse Tyson)
Imagine if we all re-membered our beginnings as stardust, if we all could connect with that divine spark from over 14 Billion years ago, if we could see the magnificance of the universe contained within each of us. Imagine.

I woke up this morning feeling frustrated and discombobulated after a string of interwoven dreams. Dreams that involved the main unresolved issues in my life, the knots that are reluctant to unravel. At the end of the dream, the main dream character, a woman, looked at me and said, “It is all right here, it is all right here.”
And, it is all right here. In both meaning of the phrase. I watch the ferns unravel, in their own time, in their own way. Their beauty and grace is stunning. It is all right here. All I need is right here. Fear is here, frustration is here, impatience is here and love is here. Right here, right now. Along with her sisters grace and hope and beauty. It is truly all right here.
What gave me great delight today?
• Tea brought to me in bed by my beloved.
• A morning and an afternoon snooze.
• Most of the day spent in the garden, hands in soil, sunshine gently warming body, soul and soil.
Delight nourishes every cell in my body. As a mentor of mine said, ” No pleasure, no treasure”. May your days be filled with pleasure and delight.
After starting the day with ease and grace, I fell into overwhelm when I began to reflect on all the tasks that need to be done. Bits of paper to be collected ordered, totalled (yes, it’s tax time), files to be backed up, photos to be uploaded. Life moved from unity and flow to fragmentation and fluster within one or two breaths.
Then, as so often happens, this video found me, and I returned to my heart, my centre, my breath.
May you connect with the Breath that Breaths as You as you move through your day.
